The Pennington Players are currently seeking submissions for the 2020-2021 season. Area directors are encouraged to submit proposals for musicals or plays that will appeal to a broad base of performers and audiences. DEADLINE: November 1, 2019. Here is everything you need to know!
The 2020-2021 season will once again take place inside The Kelsey Theatre at Mercer County Community College in West Windsor, New Jersey.
GUIDELINES FOR PROPOSALS
The Pennington Players request that potential directors submit the following information in writing:
Show Overview - This includes the title, the author(s), cast size, and age ranges of cast members, orchestra size (minimum to maximum), usual running length, list of songs, and a brief synopsis.
Overall Concept of the Show - Historical period, style, dialects, geographical location, interpretation.
Set - Special needs for staging, scene changes, set pieces.
Choreography - Level of dance required (if any)
Technical - Sound, lights, special effects needed.
Personnel - Do you have anyone in mind for production crew such as a music director, stage manager, choreographer, designers, etc.?
Other Special Considerations - Scheduling conflicts, casting ideas, rehearsal requirements.
Resume - Please include a list of previous directing, producing and/or acting experience.
